Anime Central - Wolf's Rain

The story is set at an undetermined time in the future. Humanity is dominated by a group of people that live aristocrats called the “Nobles”, who rule the towns. In the world, wolves are meant to have been extinct for nigh on 200 years now. At least, that is what humans like to believe. However, there is a legend that says some wolves live on and take the form of humans. This is only part of the whole legend though, which tells of a paradise, Rakuen, that exists hidden in some part of the world and only wolves are capable of finding it...

Kiba, Tsume, Hige and Toboe, four wolves that disguise them selves as humans to stay alive, decide to leave and search for this lost paradise in the company of Cheza, the flower maiden, who is the only one that can open the door to Rakuen. But Rakuen is equally coveted by the Nobles, who won’t back down in their attempts to seize Cheza away from the wolves…
